Coses vistes a la traducció de l'AMO

Hola gent, faig ràpidament alguns comentaris de la traducció de l'AMO mentre aprovava cadenes. Algunes coses no són necessàriament errors, sinó criteris d'estil: a nivell general de Softcatalà, del projecte Mozilla concretament o, fins i tot, del mateix lloc web. En tot cas, la qüestió és garantir la coherència a tot arreu del lloc web, i també amb les aplicacions de Mozilla a les qual s'hi refereix. --- deshabilitar -> inhabilitar Learn about -> Més informació (en comptes d'apreneu o altres) Support (verb) -> Donar suport (donació) Support (nom) -> Assistència (en el sentit de l'oferiment d'ajuda) Review -> Valoració (ho hem canviat. Hola, Sóc en Xevi d'Olot. El dissabte també vaig venir a les jornades de traducció. Tot i que no sóc traductor, al meu costat sempre hi ha una traductora, la meva dona. Tinc bons coneixements de català, castellà, anglès i francès. Intentaré col.laborar amb el projecte Mozilla amb regularitat. Fins aviat

The Firefox Product Team believes that more and more people are searching the web not just for websites but for *people* and this Twitter search addition is our first attempt at helping Firefox users easily find people on the public Web. Making minor changes to the plug-in shouldn't be a problem, but we need to do that right. If Twitter isn't right for your locale, and you believe there is an alternate service that satisfies a public people search functionality, that's OK too. Do take what ever time you need to do that evaluation and when you're confident you've found an alternative to Twitter that makes it easy for people to find other people on the public Web, file a bug, copy Alex, and he will make sure that the right people are added. Hola a tots, Em dic Josep i acostumo a fer servir el Mozilla. Des de fa uns dies, he observat que en imprimir utilitzant l'opció "selecció", m'apareix la primera línia retallada per la part superior. M'agradaria saber si a altres usuaris de la versió 7.0.1 els hi passa, o si algú sap com solucionar-ho. Em passa amb diverses pàgines web i impressores, i no amb altres navegadors web. Gràcies!

Hola: A la pàgina web de Mozilla, on es descarreguen els connectors per instal·lar-los al firefox, per exemple ací: https://addons.mozilla.org/ca/firefox/browse/type:7 el botó de descàrrega diu: "Baixa ara el" Això és normal o no ho entenc jo? Gestió de pootle de Mozilla de Softcatalà

Hola gent, com vaig comentar-vos fa unes setmanes, m'agradaria ensenyar a aquells de vosaltres que hi estigueu interessats el funcionament i gestió del Pootle de Softcatalà. Amb l'arribada del nou any voldria deixar la primera línia de responsabilitat de la traducció de Mozilla en català per poder ocupar-me d'altres qüestions de Softcatalà, però per a això vull garantir que tot funcioni igual (de fet millor que ara si és possible). This is the first time we do that and also the first time we really create localized content for the foundation on mozilla.org (based on mozilla.com framework, itself based on mozilla-europe.org multilingual framework, now all merged). If you are interested in translating this new section, please opt-in for your locale in this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/**show_bug.cgi?id=691023<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=691023> For localizers who are interested and decide to opt-in, myself and Milos will put the files for your locale on your svn repository and open the corresponding bug with instructions. In total the translation is 1800 words spread across 5 pages, making it easy to share the load among several people for the bigger teams (As a comparizon, the Features page for those who translated it was 3600 words alone). Firefox 8 beta: errada

Ep El Firefox se m''ha actualitzat a la versió 8 beta i ja inclou les correccions de les traduccions que vaig realitzar (cosa bona). En actualitzar-se, m'ha aparegut aquest diàleg: A la descripció del capdamunt hi ha un "a no ser" que és incorrecte en català que caldria canviar per "llevat que". He mirat al pootle (http://pootle.softcatala.org) però no ho he trobat. D'on prové aquesta cadena, doncs? També he vist que al Pootle, en cercar i anar fent clic a "Següent", arriba un moment que apareix això: "Error del servidor S'ha produït un error. Gràcies per la vostra paciència. 126" És possible que aparegui aquest error en lloc de dir-te "no s'han trobat més coincidències"? salut jordi s
