D'una banda algunes de les afirmacions que hi poses no són certes en tots els casos. És un fet que, en algunes àrees (sobretot les molt especialitzades, com ara el CAD), les funcionalitats que ofereix el PL son inferiors a les que ofereix el Programari Privatiu. Això no treu qe algun dia el PL pugui igualar o superar el PP en aquests camps, però ara per ara no es pot aplicar en general. El mateix passa amb el preu, la qualitat, etc.</p>

<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px; -qt-user-state:0;">En segon lloc, si bé és cert que els models econòmics i de desenvolupament que acostuma a portar associats el PL donen com a resultat, *en general*, un programari d'alta qualitat, segur i molt econòmic, etc., i això és una sort, aquestes característiques no són les essencials del programari lliure. El més important del programari lliure és la *llibertat* que atorga, sense la qual ara mateix probablement no estaríem parlant d'ell. No sé si això equival, en el món farmacèutic, a tenir lliure accés a les fórmules i mètodes de fabricació dels medicaments genèrics. Caldria investigar-ho.</p>

La llibertat és tan important que fins i tot val la pena suportar certes incomoditats (segurament transitòries) que passar-se al programari privatiu. La pega és que aquest missatge és difícil de fer entendre...</p>
